have a lot of things to update you guys about but... some people (ahem, elves) complained during COM125 tt my blog entries are tooooo long so they (ahem, HE) don't bother to read...

and I've also noticed that many of my friends can't be bothered to read parts of my blog that don't mention them..

so here comes a really INTERESTING blog entry for y'all to enjoy! (and it's short too!)

Well today I was just reading GoFugYourself when i saw a video about Plastic Surgery without Plastic Surgery.. Basically skills on how to change ur look using makeup... Then I looked at more makeup videos on youtube and chanced upon a Photoshop Makeover video... Well the ones on Youtube are really fast so you can't really learn how to do it there but I've had quite some experience editing pics so I decided to try out one for myself! =)

Here's my V first attempt (ok not v first one, but first serious one) at changing my face wit Photoshop! =)

Wahahah I think I did a pretty good job alright! Ok here's a bigger look at the original (WARNING: VERY FUGLY) picture!

Ehhs... It's pretty damn gross. Let's identify the glaringly wrong things in this pic!

1) BAD BAD SKIN!!! Oily and rough! And eyebags!
2) Slightly yellow and very uneven teeth! And vampire teeth!
3) uneven eyes!

Ok that's just what's glaringly wrong! Hahas. Alright items 1 and 2 are pretty easy to fix... Just some painting over will do. Voila! Here's the finished product after even-ing out the skintone and getting rid of the eyebags, as well as some touching up of the teeth!

Alright... Sliiiiightly better... (PS click on pics to see original size!) At least it's not cringeworthy like just now! However, something is still GLARINGLY wrong! The grossly small and unequally sized eyes! So I went to make some changes (ventured into unfamiliar territory le!) and voila! Here it is:

HUGE BAMBI EYES LA! Omfg. This was very very poorly done =( sorry guys haha. My first attempt nia so you gotta be kinder on me k. I also accidentally did something very minor to the nose... Not obvious... Oh and also twitched the left side of the mouth (MY left, as in, the ME in the pic) a bit (by accident! and cldn't find the UNDO option)

This one was baddd all the more coz i had to edit the friggin irises and also the pupil of the right eye (again, MY right) You will notice that the eyes really look weird (right eye is 'leaking' at the bottom near tear ducts, left iris is really wonkily shaped)

However, I didn't really wanna bother much abt that.. For a first attempt, I wasn't gonna be all perfectionist on myself lol.

Another edit in this picture was the hair.. I basically smoothed it out and made it neater=)

So yea! I was done! I did some effects and came up with the below 2 pictures!

Alright! On to event blogging abt today! Coz I'd already blogged abt ytd (Sat) right? So anws, this morn I woke early, made it just in the nick of time to do my 9am reading at church, hung wit mom and the canteen ppl like aunty esther and kat for awhile after the mass was over, then i left for home.. Went to sleep coz the wind was just tickling me and closing my eyes. Lol. I fell asleep on my still-unmade bed. Wahaha. Then woke up late for tuition, and knn (*&%$ kenna my cramps.. Sian.. Then went to eat medicine then went for tuition, after tuition I went home to eat dinner tt my parents dabaoed for me.. My parents had a wedding dinner to attend and they asked for permission to bring my bro, who was flying off later to Taiwan for 3 weeks..

So anw, after dinner I went to meet my student (from the sch i used to teach at) at Yew Tee Mac's.. Helped him wit his Eng for awhile, then we went down to Fajar mac's to meet another 2 of the boys.. Haha. Ok so d ppl there were Steven, Greg and Howie (i insist on spelling his name like this)... Wahaha. It was UBER FUNNY CAN!!! These 3 silly gangsters arh! Wah liew.. Damn funny. But I'm quite proud of them. Their standard of Eng has improved a lot!!! Actually they were quite ok all the while, but they are more familiar with how to use their vocabulary appropriately now.. Wah but it was damn funny. They were studying for chemistry (which i'm abysmal at) then we were discussing reduction and oxidation and how it was abt gaining or losing electrons and shit.. Then there was this discussion abt this qn:

K₂ + 2Br --> 2K⁺Br^-

Sth like tt la! Then it was super funny coz at first me steven and howie said v confidently tt it was a reduction. Then after tt we chked answers then KNN it was actually an oxidation! Then we understood why it was an oxidation so tried to explain to greg. DAMN FUNNY CAN. Howie was all like, coz you lose an electron! You lose an electron! Then Greg was like, "but just now u tell me lose electron is reduction!" Then all of a sudden Steven was like "No it's coz you got 2 electrons to spare" Then all of us looked at him and burst out laughing!!! Wahahaha. Then like we stopped laughing and kept trying to explain the oxidation thing, then Steven kept going "No seriously trust me, it's just because you have 2 electrons to spare.... Lack of 2 electrons... etc.." WAHAHAHAHAHAHA. DAMN FUNNY me, greg and howie just kept laughing i tell ya!

Then I kept writing down all this coz i wanted to blog abt it later so I kept going "Pause pause let me write this down" in between mad giggles... Then after tt Howie was explaining to Greg like, when you lose an electron it's oxidation or sth like tt then he and greg were arguing abt the charge of the ion then howie said sth like "No it's plus minus minus plus"

!!!! hahahahahahahaha!!!! Oh man! I laughed like shit then i took out my book and wrote " + - - +" then howie was like "You stop writing! I sue you ok!" LOLOL. Then after tt Greg still din understand so they kept going round and round until Howie finally understood how to explain to Greg so he was talking then Greg was all like "Wait i just have one question" then Howie was like "You shut up I got one example to show u" LOL! I tell ya as a bystander, it was damn utterly hilarious to me la!

Ok then after tt Greg was asking why the overall charge of NH3 was negative or sth like tt, then we were just saying saying saying, then Steven just said, "It's Ammonia what" then we just burst out laughing again la! Like, ok it's ammonia but it was damn random la!! Then Howie was all like, This is different, this is ammonia meh? Then we were like yesss... Then Howie went "No la! Ammonia is NH4 la idiot!" Then Steven was like "Fuck you la NH4 is ammonIUM la NH3 is ammoNIA la!" LOLOLOLOL Then i kept writing all this down and Howie was like you write!? etc!

Then after tt Greg was asking abt whether i can teach them Geog.. Then I was like yah can... Map reading is ok.. Then because before tt we kept talking abt results mah.. So i was just saying Geog is ok.. Then Greg asked "You when free(to teach them Geog)?" then I didn't really digest the qn so i said "I got A2"

LOLOLOLOL Then howie was like "HAO LIAN LA! Ppl ask you when free you come n say what A2! You better write this down! Your own words!" so LOL i put it down in my book too LOLOL.

Then ok somehow Steven ended up quarreling wit his gf over the phone, it was quite scary coz y'know bengs, they really don't care who hears them so he was basically screaming down the whole of Mac's. It was the kind where if i was not actually sitting wit them, I'd be damn scared to look at Steven coz he sure say "See what see!? Nv see people quarrel on phone before is it?!" kind and proceed to pull out a parang or sth. LOL. But I was wit them la so no worries. Damn funny leh halfway through his call he was like "You think I cannot get girl is it? You want today we break tomorrow I go with another girl show you. " then he came up with this damn classic line: "You happy tomorrow I go with another girl show you la! You not happy then sua"

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OMFG I tell you when we heard this, Me greg n howie looked at each other with really "HUH!?!?!" expressions on our faces then Howie was like makin gestures at Steven and kept mouthing "No LINK" LOLOLOL I tell ya! I was laughing like mad la!!! Steven was like am-qio-ing over the phone! Wahahahahaha Then I kept noticing this little boy who looked really scared wahahah then i kept asking the guys to diao him WAHAHAHAHAHA. Then the worst thing is turns out he was Steven's primary sch classmate!!! Wahaha then howie got a shock coz he looked so young but he was their age! (Sec 4) LOLOLOL Damn hilarious la.

Then Steven's phone ran out of batt so he used Howie's phone to call the gf... Then he cldn't hear his gf properly and then released another classic line: "Your phone is stammering"

Guess what Howie's response was? "You want earpiece?"

It was a really fun and funny experience la lol. I'm glad they're so much more motivated to study nowadays =) Proud of you boys! I'm also glad tt i don't have to be as strict wit em as I had to le... Can hang wit em like friends. They rock la! Silly chao ah bengs. Damn funny =)

hehes. i had a good day today =) yay! i shall event blog abt today first alright. Heh.

Firstly, midterms for ESL was this morn.. I took quite long to write so had like about 10 seconds to write my conclusion and had to give up writing my 2nd last para.. Sian. Ended it in a shoddy manner.. Hope I did ok.. Haha. We had to write a prob-solution essay on Prostitution.. Was weird.. Nina really combined the pei2 du2 mama issue wit prostitution la!

Anyways after exam, I went down to Bugis Street Memoirs to meet tong for lunch.. Stayed for awhile then the BOV organizer William came down and joined us.. And chatted a helluva long time.. Then like, 103874310 hours later we left then tong and I went to bugis street to shop for stuff to create her next look. OMG OMG I am so proud of myself. She looks damn SHUAI! Shuai-er than like, Tai An or what! Hahahaha! Ok nvm. Just bear in mind that she is really going for the male look. It's sth tt she has to do la ok? Haha. And i'm so proud of myself. When u all see the effects right, and you are convinced of my image consultant prowess, then u can all send me ur boyfriends, brothers, neighbours etc to makeover. WAHAHA. FOC! For now. Wahaha.

K anyways, then we went down to Far East to cut hair! And OMGOMGOMG i'm so happy wit my hairstylist! He's called Yoyo.. I went to the Highest tt salon.. At first went to Klearcuts but some logistics prob there... So went to Highest coz i'd been there to do my JC prom hair before.. And there was quite cheap.. So yea. I really like my new hairstyle =) I will stick wit Yoyo le! Wahaha.

Ok then after haircut we hung around far east... Then I walked tong to mrt and then met up wit Bina at Tangs.. Then we went down to Tanglin Mall to meet some friend of yvonne's (i'm sorry i forgot ALL your names!) then Yvonne picked us up.. In a car full of her colleagues.. Then we went to Dempsey (and the drive there was FREAKIN scary. like roller coaster!) Then anw yea Dempsey is a really cool place!!! L'Organic, La Fondue.. All the LaLaLa places.. Haha. Lots of fine dining there.. I especially liked the Hacienda one. Hehe. Anyways, we went to the B&J there under the pretext of hanging wit Yvonne when actually Yvonne and I had planned to celebrate Bina's bday! Wahaha. Girl! We planned this on Saturday when I met her at her house and you didn't come! wahaha. So anyways, i had lots of fun and here are some pics =) (Click them for larger version!)

anyways, just a quick one before i go zzz! today was school, pia-ing project and then cca!

i'm super proud of CAMEP =) we finished up (sorta) our project today.. Many kudos to maddie for pia-ing the video, ann mad phy n evy for pia-ing the asiacentric part =) Really proud of you guys =)

CCA - basic lesson started at 5pm today.. I taught basic solfege and rhythm.. And basic warmup and techniques.. Yup. Then lesson started and was fun! =) Really big big groups of ppl.. And there's a buncha eng singers... Means i'll definitely be needed around le. Fun but stressful at the same time know!

Yupyup! Anw, heard from Estella abt our Finals performance.. Apparently we were in the judges' list of Top 3.. Think we were 2nd or something.. But we got pulled down by votes.. Or rather, the lack of.. Yep. Oh wells. I suppose there's supporter fatigue among my friends le. Haha. Nvm.. Next time don't call u all down le... Hahaha. Ok la!

the indulgz story... =)

here we go!

arh ben treated me to Indulgz on Sat!! =) So shiok! But he wouldn't let me know where we were going till we were at Bugis, then he was like, it's this place called Indulgz. Then i was like OHHHHHH!!! Super excited haha coz i'd heard abt it! So yea! Ok so here's what it was abt!

We had a five course meal in all, consisting of soup, salad, starters, entree and dessert! I'll shut up now and let the pics do the talking! Suffice to say that arh ben cleaned up everything! haha. It was super good! And we both agree that the cheese fries were the BEST man! Heh.

Mine was French Onion while arh ben had the Iced Peach champagne thingy... It was quite sweet and cold.. Heh. But if you keep eating it it tastes good =) My French Onion was just fantastic =)

I was craving for Caesar's Salad so here it was! Haha =) It's not bad. A bit weird on the first bite but thereafter it's super yummy =)

DAMN DAMN DELICIOUS! It tastes just as good as it looks!!! Maybe even better!!

The CHEESE FONDUE omg! It(the cheese mix thing) was blended with White Wine and German Brandy so the alcohol smell was quite strong.. The best thing to dip the cheese with, in my opinion, was the red apple. Deeeelicious! =)

Our main courses!!! =) Arh ben's thing was some pork loin thing which tasted a bit smelly but the apple sauce thing was nice! But i dunno what part of pig is pork loin from so yea... Arh ben bluffed me, saying it was intestine. I almost spit the pork out la! But the meat was really quite smelly. My chicken, on the other hand, was nice =)

Really nice... AND the best part is the MASHED POTATO! They have some super atas name for it which I can't remember now some potato truffle or sth. Whatever. It tastes fucking good!!

Last but NOT least, our desserts! I had lemon souffle while arh ben had earl grey pana cota! I couldn't take the tang of the lemon after awhile so we swopped halfway. I LOVE THE EARL GREY PANA COTA!!! DAMN GOOD!

So yes yes as you can see, it was really a fantastic dinner!! =) Thanks arh ben for the treat =) *feels guilty* (He wouldn't let me know how much the bill came up to but only said tt the gst (7%) was about $10+.... My maths is lousy but I'm thinking this means the meal cost more than $100 right?! OMG!!!)

Anyways. Really enjoyed myself tt day lol. Apart from getting lost around Bugis area looking for tan quee lan street la! Haha. We walked right past indulgz without knowing it at first! haha. Sian! Haha.

Realized that i forgot to blog abt Duet Superstar Finals. Nothing really much to say haha. We prepared long and hard for it, but we were really too tired and lost focus of the song, so i think in the end we didn't do as well as we'd expected. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic learning experience =) We got consolation prize, which, considering the pathetically dismal number of votes we got, was really like, amazing. Haha. Jinglun&TaiAn got first =) Which made me really happy.

Sam(lee) bought us flowers, which the guys presented to us as we were coming off the stage. Haha. So sweeeeeeet~ My fave flower somemore!! Sadly enough, she apparently had a bit of a car accident on her way to school and all =( Urgh. Love ya babe for everything. Thanks thanks so much for everything!!!!!

Had quite a good student week all in all la. =) Alright will blog next time.. Lots of project work to do. Talk next time, CIAO! =)
