went out to town wit val today, then went church to do reading for Palm Sunday. Jesus Christ is IN DA HOUSE!!! Woot! =) On Good Friday He'll leave da house, then on Easter Sunday He'll ascend!

Heh anw, went to Far East and booked my apptmt for rebonding.. First time doing at this place, coz i'm getting fed up wit Kimage! I'll only go to Kimage for haircuts now, so as not to waste my membership card. Heh. Yupps so i'm doing my rebonding tml! Wanted to buy new shoes but bleah no time to look.. Val did her brows, we cam-whored a bit, bought a lovely hotdogBUN from Vill'age then went Starbucks(!) to chatchat =) Anw, you didn't realize this but Orchard Road is full of uncensored sex poses all over in public view! Think of the little kids! Val & I took photos of em, will show u soon =)

Saw edna there too =) Hey babe~ Didn't buy anything today.. Hahas. Anw, MSC's New Collections are out again!! This time it's Twiggy and Wonderland! Not bad not bad =) Oh yah the other day (Last Sunday) huihua came by wit my clothes again. Haha. And I went through my closet and gave my stuff to tong, who came over to my house.. Then we went down to Republic Poly for the NUS Voices concert.. Haha.. Yupp. Before that(on Sat 24/3) was the March Bday Babies party thingy at Marina Square!

Anw, the NEW CK One Summer is out!! And it smells DEEELICIOUS! Cherlurves~ haha I'm gonna buy it asap this time =) Heh. Peachy goodness!

Anw! Cher wants to make May her fitness month and is looking for good friends to accompany her! Let's make this a detox and jian-fei-ing month! =) Cher intends to go swimming at least 3 times a week during the 1st 3 weeks of May and play bball if poss=) Who wants to come with!? Oh and Tanning in May as well =) Most prob tanning wit Val la.. Haha. Dun dare to appear in a bikini in front of any of the rest of you. Especially not the guys so don't even think about it.

anw, I know this is late/old but omg i love WANG SHAO WEI and YAN XING SHU and XU MENG ZHE!!! AHHH~~~ My darling 183Club + a bit of 5566.. Haha. Coz I've been addicted to watching Tian Cai Chong Chong Chong on Youtube lately and there're several episodes featuring the 183 or the 5566 ppl. SUPER FUNNY!! =) I love em! Of course, the Fahrenheit episode was good too, haha made me realise that the Chen Yi Ru (aaron i think) is not bad haha.

anw! haha yea 's been a long time since i last event blogged properly eh? well, obvs the biggest news has to be my Lasik OP =) Yea well it was really scary and all, and I was nervous and freakin scared but the doctor was really good, calmed me down etc =) Heh. The Lasik Surgery Clinic rocks! Dr. Marc Tay rocks! =) My vision's recovering now, everything is so clear =) I wanna take good care of my eyes now so there'll be less Photoshop work and less bloggin etc =) Do understand =)

So spent my Sat resting at home, Sunday rested at home apart frm a brief trip out to church and dinner.. Mon went to sch! Thanks so much to ann dear who came to drive me to school! Coz i got to avoid dusty areas so cannot take my usual bus route, which includes a traipse through this uber dusty jungle-like railroad track thing.. Yea.. Heh. Went to sch, kept my shades on to protect my eyes(doctor's orders! hehe. love my shades tho).. Went tuition after tt.. Oh yah! On Sun right, Huihua came by my house wit my MSC purchases!! Weee~~ New gorgeous clothes =) Oh btw, MSC's new collections Mini Magic and Rock Chick are out!! People who are interested do check out MySecretCloset! Yepps. Anw yea wore an MSC dress to sch on Mon with a MSC belt =)

On a side note, I'm in DESPERATE NEED of NEW SHOOOEEESSS~~~ I'm so sick and tired of my shoes already haha. I miss my Batas (out of stock!! =(()

Anw tues also went school, shades on most of the time too =) haha. Didn't change shades though.. They're the most nondescript pair i have, haha. If not my shades would be screamingly AA! Hahas. Anw tues went sch for UGC only. OH YAH. MONDAY NO LESSON then we go school study only!!! Ann and I were like, sadded. Pfft. Anw, yah UGC was ok ok la.. Some game quiz thing.. Ok then after tt i went for tuition, then teru came to pick me up wit tong and drove us to my house.. Tong stayed over ytd! We had to pia exco stuff! But tong and I got caught up watching JIANG SHI.. Hehehe.

Anw, ytd had to call up all the so-called members of the club.. Didn't know we had SO MANY FRIGGING MEMBERS can?!?! Haha. Anw, really la! Oh btw tong when u read this, we still have the "uncontacted" ppl got to call leh! Anw, at least tong and I managed to churn out the prog sheet and name list by the deadline! Oh crap, just realized i dunno if i churned out the exco list yet. Plus i haven't do the minutes for the prev meeting!!! And there's sth i still need to do... WHAT IS IT?!?! How come i can't rmb!?!? Pls someone frm exco remind me what is it i still have to do?!?

Haha did I mention tt our first meeting was looong drawn and uneventful, kinda funny tt's all? Yea then after exco meeting we went KTV at Chevrons! Hahas. I love asses, we're like conspirators! We'd make the greatest triumvirate man. Speaking of asses -- ASSESBLOG ROCKS MY SOCKS!!! Haha. But of course, the link to assesblog is not gonna be up any time soon on this blog.. haha. It's meant to be an internal joke thing.. But i think anyone with half a brain and some IT-savvy will be able to find it sooner or later. Hahas.

This Sat is Esprimere Mar Bday Celeb and then Sunday is the NUS Voices performance we gotta go and spy on our *ahem* fellow Singing-clubbers of other schools. Haha. NUS got their CAC Voices, NTU has their Impresario, SMU got dunno what, SIM has Esprimere!! =) Yayy haha.

WOOH~ FINALLY BOUGHT my CK ONE SUMMER!!! =) i know a bit late la hor but whatever~ Sad tho, i got it at more expensive than i'd originally intended.. =( Nx time i see a fragrance i like ii will buy le. Haha.

AAAnyways.. after midterms today(it was fuck!) i went to eat wit Maddieee at Ke Ai Ji at Coro!! Hahahaha the nj/hc hangout hahaha. Food was good as ever, auntie and uncle as nice as ever~ Talked abt a lotta school stuff wit Maddieee~ Sigh. Haha. Shan't say much. Thankfully I'd already extricated myself from UB politics VVVVV long ago. Haha. Totally no desire to partake of any of these! Enough trouble out of UB as it is..


After "lunch" wit maddie, went down to IMM to meet VAL! Met wenfu on the way there hahas he was going to work i think. Then at IMM - window shopped awhile, then BOUGHT MY CK ONE SUMMER then tried on 3 gorgeous pairs of shoes at BATA(snigger haha) but don't have my size so i think tml early early i'm going down to the Lot 1 Bata maybe buy frm there! Heh. Then at Giant we bought some mini muffins and i bought some delish snacks then we went her house where she drove us down to TP area and then she gave some stuff to her friend to lives there, i had a nice time sitting in her car waiting and blasting the music! Haha. Then after tt got some stuff cannot divulge la haha.

Came home then shopped (kinda) haha. Placed my order for some really cool eye thing, so gotta pay asap tml morn haha. Then talked to.. melvin, yarn, suyee, tong, evy n silas a bit~ Haha. Think i can never shirk off my duties as Chief Councillor hor. Haha. Poor suyeesweets pls cheer up soon darl =)

Watched MTV this morn before I went sch... Hahas LOVE UTT! But anw, yea saw this short thing on Timbaland. Man, the guy is awesome. I love Nelly Furtado's almost new song Say It Right =) I think it's a cover version right, coz i musta heard it before somewhere.. The tune's so familiar! Anw yea, I'm damn into the song now. Then anw, after tt was this show called My Super Sweet Sixteen... Showing how this rich 16 year old girl celebrated her 16th bday. OMFG super super big affair! What Party of the Year kind! Guess what? Her name was Cher!!! Like the diva!! Like wah seh la. For her party she had a Float for her entrance, she appeared through a magic show (got one box, transparent, empty one, then the magician wave his cloak over the box and voila~ Cher was there!) then she had a total of 3 costume changes (all the dresses machiam super expensive, and is she design ask ppl to make one). Her mom, a VIP at Saks Avenue(wtf!) bought her some diamond necklace and earring set for her bday prez, then she performed some dance for her guests (it was effing big and they were like clubbing like mad) then guess what, her dad gave her her dream car for her bday - some super expensive JAGUAR convertible.

Goodness.. The extremities we will see in this world will nv cease to amaze me! Cable tv really opens ur eyes.. Haha

Wah. Miss Counsellor Cherlynn is a busy busy counsellor. Got a lot of business!

So end up like tt. Got to:

Slacked at home today since i did church reading ytd already. Was kinda sick, woke up wit a super bad sore throat but after awhile(meaning breakfast[at1pm]) i got better! Haha. Then was supposed to choose between joining my mom, Godma and aunties for dinner at King's Hotel, or wit my dad and brother at RafflesTownClub.. Hmm. Haha. I actually chose to go wit my mom first, then felt bad abt pangseh-ing siyingzi so I decided to find siying for dinner instead. Btw i came up wit a new acronym for siying - XYZ wahaha hhaha coz at first wanted to call her SYZ coz siyingZi mah (old internal joke) then SYZ sounds like XYZ mah, so XYZ lor~ Anw ya so met up wit XYZ for dinner - we went to SUSHITEI hahhah then after tt went shopping! At taka i bought my new shu uemura black eyeshadow! It's gorgeous! haha. Though the lancome one was gorgeous-er and after tt saw a MAC black eyeshadow tt was even more gorgoeus! Wooh~

Then went to Wisma and I bought a new structured shrug/bolero thing haha. Nicee~~ Then wanted to buy a triumph bra and a anna sui eyeliner but in the end chose to help XYZ buy her undies instead (oh btw i was using voucher haha). Yupp. Then bought a new eyeliner from Watson's wahaha. Then after tt went Fareast to check out hairsalons! Then went to 7-eleven where i bought 3 bottles of starbucks coffee(one of each flavour) and then walked to meritus mandarin to get cab. Woohoo~

COUNTDOWN TO DDAY(lasik op): 5 days left!!! Grrr

shopping and the story of Lasik

wooh. been spending the past 2 days shopping online (spreee-ing!) and watching jiang shi.. Finished part 2 of jiang shi ytd and started part 3.. A bit turned off by the beginning haha.

I feel like organizing a mSc spree, right here on my own blog. And at least will save ur time collecting the thing coz it's super convenient for me to get the stuff (winks at huihua haha) Anw, I've already bought like what, 10 items of clothing frm mSc =) v nice, quality good and their dresses considered quite cheap! Compared to most local online shops (those without huge capital kind), mSc's one of the best already! Do it asap, coz their stuff runs out quite fast! Tell me asap what u want and i can chope for u!! Quick, onlineshopaholics (ahem evy)!!!

Ok ok enough abt the happy stuff. Event blog event blog.. After outing wit siying i can't rmb much other stuff apart frm my Lasik checkup on Fri.. So yupps as many of you now know, i'm having my Lasik op on 17 Mar. And I'm damn scared by it. Let me tell you why.

The operation is sth like this. They will put numbing eye drops on ur eyes first, then when u lie down, they'll use some machine to clamp your eyelids open, then some machine will cover your eye and by applying some pressure or suction, will squeeze your cornea till it's nice n firm, then a machine will come from the side and cut a flap in ur cornea, then the doctor will use a stick thingy and open tt flap, then the laser will shoot shoot shoot and correct your cornea faults, then the doctor will put the flap back, then put a piece of lens over the cornea, then you're done! Yes yes sounds pretty simple right? But out of the operation alone you know what i'm most afraid of? The fact tt i have to SEE everything going on, and also the part where they create the cornea flap. Like OMFG they are CUTTING MY EYE. Damn damn damn damn scared.

Anyways, after the op they'll put some bug eyed protector thing over your eyes then u got to put antibiotic eyedrops every hour for the first day, then go back for checkup first thing the next day. Got to sleep wit the eye protector thing in case u rub ur eyes at night (then the cornea flap will wrinkle up and get inflammed and cannot heal and you will GO BLIND!).. Then after the checkup the day after the op right, they will remove the lens, then u got to put antibiotic eyedrops every 4 hours. Then three months later go back for another checkup.. Hopefully by tt time all is well then dun need to go back again.. If not they will do minor corrective surgery to fix any probs..

Other things to note:
cannot wash hair for 2 days after surgery (don't want water to get into eyes)
cannot use stuff that has fragrance
cannot swim for a month
cannot rub eyes
cannot close eyes too tightly shut
Avoid dusty places
got some other "cannot"s that i can't rmb at this point

Most common side effects:
dry-eyes (i already have dry eyes so my eyes after the op will become even drier)
extreme light-sensitivity at night

Worst possible outcome:
BLINDNESS!

How to not be scared, tell me? Got so many things to worry abt! Grr


Anw at the checkup, I was so scared coz they kept doing stupid things to my eyes! Like taking photos of my cornea (using laser thingy la) and blowing puffs of air into my eye (quite a strong jet of air some more la!) then they put some eye drops so tt my pupils wld dilate! And let me tell you, tt was my first time putting eye drops in more than 10 years!! I was freaking out la my eyes kept shutting. Then my mom came to pry my eye open while the doctor dropped the liquid in. Grr.

Haha but anw after Lasik (and after my eyes have healed properly) my mom wants me to go and do double eylid surgery. Wahahahahaha. Funny nia~ Oh anw, my parents are kinda wanting me to go for Lasik coz for my dad he just wants me to go and take my PDL (i keep failing the stupid sight test rmb?) and for my mom, i think she feels guilty about it coz I was born with high astigmatism. My astig is just really really high la, the doctor and optometrists at the Lasik place kept saying haha. Also, don't ask me how much it costs. Yes it is expensive but as of now, I have no concept of the money, i'm too busy worrying about my soon-to-be-cut cornea. Anws since my astig is so high, regular Lasik isn't enough to correct my cornea errors so yea I'm doing the more expensive one.. If you really wanna know how much (maybe coz u also wanna do it) then ask me. If not, just know it's below 5000 dollars. But above 2000 dollars.

very long nv event-blog liao hor. Haha. A lot happening these days la.. Also dunno where to start frm. Like since before CNY i also stopped event-blogging liao. Kinda a lot to catch up on. Will deffo make up for it!

Okok so anw just got back frm an outing wit SIYING!! =) hehe. i missed you babe~ needa give u my blog addy soon lol. Anw, siyingdarl met me in school, then ann dearie gave us a lift to the hc bus stop whereupon sy and i decided to go back to SC for lunch! (uncle/auntie's meepok!) haha so we went back, suay suay the teachers all having meeting, so we just went to canteen, then suay suay all our fave kuay teow no more so we ate the yellow mee (tt's all that was left!). Anw, sc girls, the standard is still the same, at least, if you've been an auntie-fan.. If you were an uncle-fan, then the uncle who replaced him is not so generous wit the vinegar, so make sure u ask for more! We also suay suay kenna no more rou4.. so sad! Really miss the meepok rou. Haha.

Then we saw Mrs Choo and chatted awhile before Mrs Choo had to rush back to meeting, then sy and i cabbed down to town for facial and pedi! At the facial and pedi place (my aunt's salon), I got my IMPLANTS!!! =) Eyelash implants lah.. Dun anyhow anyhow think. Haha

Hmm. It's ok la the implants, v long n curly but v thin, so not v fake.. Maybe nx time if i feel like it then do the really exaggerated ones haha. One thing bad tho.. I can't wear specs wit these lashes!! So looongg~~

Which brings me to the next topic/update.. Haha. I'm going for my Lasik checkup/evaluation this Fri.. Then if i'm suitable for the op then will prob do nx wk.. Like Monday or sth.. Hahas. Then it's bye-bye specs for me wahaha. So sad. Will really miss the specs. I could/can always hide behind them on my fugly days.. Now cannot le =( Coz of these lashes lah~ Super long.


Anw, then after the eyelash implant and facial and pedi, sy and I went to Taka to eat Crystal Jade! Then walk walk~ Hahahahas. Miss sy so much~ We just sat and chatted. Thank God we're still in touch la. Now we realize we got quite a bit in common when it comes to thinking etc. Like, i think we've both matured a lot~ What to do, 20 years old le leh.. Haha

SY!! (meaning siying hor, suyee you dun anyhow think *grins*) Had a great time today =) Even though it was one of our relatively more sedate outings, I had fun=) Especially spending one hour waiting for cab to take home. Ytd went out wit val after tuition.. Kenna pulled by 2 prudential agents.. Bought a new tube top, new belt and some Doritos.. Oh btw babe, think sleepover can't le =( Pissed my mom off 2 days in a row

Speaking of which, did anyone else feel the tremors today? I didn't, siying didn't, but my mom did and maddie did and sharul did etc. Haha. And the ppl at the salon did. Funny~

Then before tt... Oh yah on Monday aftnn celebrated Anndarl's bday in sch! =) Hehe. Shroomy~ Pudding~ Apple~ Orange~ Hahahha CAME is nuts la. And CAME are owls!! Coz nowadays we keep going "the who the who?" "the who the who the who?" "shui2 de4 shui2 de1 shui2?" HAHAHAHHA. Stupid la~

Last Sat went out wit Val to JEC and IMM.. Bought LOTS of stuff. 3 new tanks frm Giordano(just coz i felt like it), my vaseline, my HANAKIMI dvd, OMEN II the vcd and 2 new hairbands, one of which i've been sporting for the past 2 days now! Hahas. Before tt, i think last Mon or sth.. Met up wit val after tuition again (as in, we go to the same house for tuition, coaching different siblings, so happened to meet at the house and had tuition at the same time) then bought a new pair of pants frm Giordano (the black "velvet" one i've worn frequently the past 2 weeks haha)


And bought a lot more stuff tt i can't rmb la!

不知道大家有没有留意到身边有这样的人呢？我观察了很久，发现自己在不知不觉中已形成了这样的个性。。 我会不惜一切地保护我的朋友，谁敢伤害她们谁就得小心防范我来日的攻击。。而且我也是那种不轻易让其他人保护或照顾的人。。 val曾说过，我和她都是＂独立＂型的。。 虽然我有许多保护及疼爱我的家人和朋友，但是我通常会表现出一个很坚强的外表，免得我朋友们担心。。

坚强的外表，往往都是内心脆弱的面具。

表面上的个性越是坚强，内心深处越是脆弱。女孩子，很多都是这样的。。 口不对心。。说是不需要你帮忙，可是心里想的总是： ＂如果你真的有心帮忙的话，我拒绝你几次你都会抢着帮忙。＂

我是固执，说什么都不会让朋友为我操劳，开门也要跟朋友抢着开。。 虽然最近朋友， 尤其是CAME那一群， 帮了我不少忙，令我感到非常内疚，可是我总觉得，如果要让朋友对我那么好的话，除非有些特别的理由。。 譬如说，是我的生日啊，或我发高烧之类的。。要不然的话，我宁可所有问题自己扛。

扛久了，就会渐渐习惯一个人扛着包袱的感觉。虽然包袱不会变轻，至少习惯了之后，不会一直找人与我分担。。

也不知道为什么，最近心情特别忧郁。。 我看我只是在等那个人， 那个我会让他帮我分担忧愁的人出现吧。。 ＝）
