awesome day in all!!!

yay! had a great day today (wed 090108)

first, siyingzi came to my house then we went to the gym and worked out a bit... it was a light workout but a workout nevertheless ok! then after i bathed and stuff, (cancelled tuition) we went to Bukit Panjang plaza, had our meesua (n sat at LJS so ordered a combo 1 to share) then walked around... I bought my new mouse, and a new memory card for my hp! We also went to popular to look for assessment books...

then oh yah, we ran into ah seet (huitze) and her bf at bukit panjang plaza too hahas chatted for a short while.

then, armed with lots of vouchers and giftcards from xmas, i headed to town to meet ann... Was early so hung around Borders for awhile picking books to buy... Wah tell ya, I totally melted at the fiction section la... DAMN LARGE + GREAT COLLECTION LAH!!! Sigh.. How i wish my library was like that. Sigh... Anw, i bought a book called The Terror... Set in the 1800s... Hopefully I'll love it hehe.

Kays then ann arrived and we went shopping!!! Haha I was like, aiming to buy a nice cardigan by the end of the day so yea we headed off looking! But first! I also aimed to buy a book to teach myself Italian at Kino (another place I had vouchers for) so yea went there! Then when I was browsing the Italian language books and ann was looking for her "Northern Lights" Book (dunno even if it exists LOL =Pp) this old man came up and he was like "Learning Italian?" and totally launched into which books are good, where to take courses etc.. He's some doctor, pretty well established i think then yea v interesting =) Talk talk talked... Funny though, i must have some radar that alerts ppl to my presence or sth coz I've been getting into these freaky situations where random strangers like to just ask me things =(( It really weirds me out... Scares me too!! Haha I'm the queen of paranoia rmb!? =) Anw yea! I bought a book called Painless Italian =) When i'm done with this book I wanna pick up the Schaum(n) one =)) WHeeeee~ Can't wait!

Ok then we went for dinner at Central Cha Caan Teng... Yayy =) I had the Instant Noodles with Fried Egg and Luncheon Meat!!!! SHIOOOKKKK =)) Ann had porkchop with instand noodles! =) Then we shared a (freaking delicious) Lime Juice with Sourplum and a mango sago cream =) But too bad leh all the cold stuff made ann have tummyache so we went toilet.. Then in the end shop shop shop and realized we vv auntie hahaha. Ok la me la hor. Haha. We had a lotta fun just chatting like xiao! Hahahahas. TEEE OHHH TEEE OHHH hahahaha i am not gonna say anything. Anyways, finally bought my cardigan and ann bought a gorgeous red one too!! =) Then after tt i also bought a pair of shorts at Cotton On. Woohoo

Great day all in all =) But loooong day. Another long day ahead!

Ytd was an alright day =) Did my 2 tuitions, supposed to meet Bina but she had an apptmt she forgot abt lol so cldn't meet up.. Then had cca.. Hahas long time no cca le so yea weird! haha. i think a lot of misunderstandings happened la so as again, i don't like to explain my behavior, so you all can speculate all you want.

After cca, tong tai an me gerald and william went for dinner! We chatted like xiao and damn funny!!! Hahahahahhas. Yay

Then at night talked to tong on phone then had super long talk on phone wit val! wahahahahaha!!! we went utterly mad la!! "Once upon a time..." haha. I will update y'all abt this soon. Think we chatted till 5am!?!? wtf. whhahaha. *dream noises* LOL

yay! =) had a fun day today =)

went out to meet MESC at Fareastplaza =) Had my haircut, then we shopped for a bit.. I bought 3 tee shirts!! =) I have a heckuva lotta t-shirts now man =( Anw, i totally need to get rid of my irritating back-fat.. XYZ!!! Gymming starts Tuesday! =)

Anws, we shopped, then braved the rain to get to the MRT station, then shopped a bit more at Toa Payoh hub area, then went to tong's hse and mj-ed a lot! Lost quite a bit of money to midhelle then after she left, tong myself and eunice continued playing sanka haha... Recouped my losses so in the end i think i earned abt what, 10cents.. LOL

Yuppps =) And ate my fave cake today - Bengawan Solo's Chocolate Gateau!!! Hehe coz it was tong's mom's bday heh.

nothing much le =) I've had a great few days, time to spend tml pia-ing my work (NC stuff) hahas. YAY see you guys soon! =) Batu Pahat on Monday!!!! =D Anyone wanna join me??

haha! ytd went to batu pahat wit my parents! SHIOK!

i strongly recommend a shopping trip (expenses covered by your parents! haha or not also can) haha. It really makes u feel good!

Anw i went to the Batu Pahat mall and shopped... They were having sales (I think is the Malaysia Year End Sale) and a lot of stuff was like, 50% off, 70% off etc!! And the stuff is really really cheap! I bought a total of 3 pairs of shoes for myself and 2 skirts! And toiletries =) Oh man, who's up for a shopping trip? My parents and I are going back in about 2 or 3 weeks to pick up our curtains =) Come along la! Bring 100 Sing = 229RM! Can buy quite a bit of stuff even if the Year End Sale is not on! My shoes were originally 49.90RM then after 50% off is 24.95RM, which is less than SGD$12!! And they're gorgeous gorgeous heels know! Show you all nx time man. I think the shoe-shopping there is better than Shenzhen =) Cheaper to go there too! Haha but shenzhen clothes shopping better coz WAYY cheaper! But their clothes (in BP) are quite nice!

Haha I'm rambling. Anyway the sad thing is, i didn't see any nice bags that caught my fancy.. =( Oh and they have CUTE salespeople! Haha which is kinda freaky coz I walked into a shop, then checking out the stuff, then noticed a salesperson and briefly thought to myself, "Hmm, cute." And then said salesperson proceeds to follow me all around the shop. I was like, so uncomfortable i left the shop LOL. Happened in more than 3 shops I went to! Though not as bad/aggressive as the Lot1 Bag Guy (*winks at val*), these people kinda just follow you around, and it's really scary! And the cute-salesperson-phenomena is not just limited to one shop! They really employ the Liking Factor a lot there huh. I like cute muds! Grr. Hahahaha.

Anyways, I had a fun time =) Travelling was fun too - we had great songs playing in the car and didn't have to make very many stops. Hehe alright I enjoyed myself.

i love my job =)

it is all subjective, but my colleague BINANANA and I both agree wholeheartedly that we've landed the best job a girl could ask for.

We're paid a certain basic sum a month to go... wait get this - we're PAID to go SHOPPING for our boss, on HER MONEY. ON OUR BOSS'S MONEY. And the stuff we get is to be resold, and we get a commission from the stuff that's sold! Ok, so we actually do more than that if you consider all the technicalities, but like seriously, I've got the DREAM JOB. Haha.

I won't reveal all the monetary stuff, but our shopping allowance is HUGE. *faints and dies*

Anyways. The Student Week has started in SIM and there's the bazaar again.. Then after tt went to "work" wit BINA and bought even more stuff.. Here's just a listing of what i bought:

Ok all the XX stuff i gotta keep secret k haha. Anw, i had starbucks today, and LJS, so am feeling suitably happy =) I'm not sure if there was other stuff I bought la but anyways, it was fantastic. haha.

Lots of work to do. Am stressing. Student week, Competition, Presentations, Work, Tuition etc. SUCKS! But will definitely drop another tuition in the near future to concentrate more on sch stuff and my DREAM JOB. Haha.

Yesterday I was in a pretty foul mood. Tong came over and we practised our song.. But I was still in a foul mood after that nevertheless. Dunno why also.. Funnily enough, during Communion at mass when I prayed, I asked God to just take care of everything. Though I ALWAYS ALWAYS pray that He does that right, this time I think I was just like, give up, let God take everything. I didn't want to care about anything anymore. And the fantastic thing was that, once I'd finished my prayer and sat back to sing the Thanksgiving hymn, I felt utterly peaceful and happy! It was super unbelievable. I didn't realize it at first until I found myself humming and almost skipping all the way down to the bus stop after running into Mrs. Tay Eng Leng (from SC PRI) at my church. We chatted for awhile, then I went down to the bus stop there to wait for my parents to pick me up. All the way down I was humming the final Hymn and just feeling really peaceful.

In the car, I watched the beautiful scenery zoom by, and it was really really gorgeous. It was as if God wanted to reward me for my renewed faith in Him... It was His special show for me - I particularly enjoyed how the setting sun's rays dusted the treetops. It was simply beautiful. The leaves turned golden, copper and bronze as the car sped past. Even when we were passing a not-yet-completed overhead bridge and my mom was busy complaining about how they were taking forever to build the bridge, I marveled at the serene, unmoving clouds in the clear dusk sky. It was breathtaking, and I must say, it was God.

I haven't enjoyed His presence in so long. I felt His assurance that i was still loved by Him, that no matter what I did wrong, it would be forgiven. My heart was filled with so much joy and yet so much calmness.

I love you, God =)
