I was reading eunice's blog and I realized that if i don't blog properly about the events of the party, it's gonna be a big waste. So I MUST! Hahas. Super funny can.

Kk so the preparations for the party actually started early last week - after the game of bball at teru's place last Thurs, me, tong and val went back to my house and just started discussing. Actually coz me and val had the idea/desire to plan a xmas party for really long now. Then we included tong for budget's sake. So we came up wit lots of ideas on venue, theme etc. Won't reveal all our plans for now but the brainstorming process seemed to only include my brain. Lols. So anw, we had an initial guest list of 65 ppl - then we realized it was really too much, so we threw out the not-so-important ppl and narrowed it down to abt 7-8 people each, leaving about 20+ almost 30 people invited.

So we sent out the invitations etc and here comes the infuriating part - ppl who dun wanna reply fast, ppl who hem and haw. I mean, if you fucking don't wanna come, just say no. I'll beg etc for awhile but i won't keep it up. I mean, one less person means less to provide for means easier on my pocket right? Those "try" ones I had to keep putting an asterisk beside the name etc. Irritating only.

Oh on that day we also decided on the games etc And the food. Hahas. So this week Tuesday, val and I went to the sheng siong near my house to grab all the food and we bought a heck of a lot of stuff! But i love grocery shopping nia! Then etc then went home and realized my mom wasn't gonna allow us to cook at home, then really pissed and all, then i said OK LOR since u dun want us to cook YOU cook for us before you leave for dinner lor. My father was uber-supportive of course. He rocks during times like these. He sponsored a truckload of food though, assuming, of course, that everyone eats as much as he does. LOL. Kidding kidding.

Today(ytd) itself, the girls were supposed to be at my house around 11am, then change to 3pm.. After clubbing last night, I slept at 5am, woke up at various intervals and finally dragged myself outta bed at 12nn. My mom called and asked if we had minced meat for the pasta sauce and I said no so I walked out to the NTUC at yewtee mrt to buy tt and mixed veg and balloons and the prize for the games and nachos etc. Yea. Then walked home.. Then prepared the scavenger's hunt stuff and blew balloons.. Then val arrived and we prepared the rest of the balloons, the gift exchange, the other stuff la. Then once everything was more or less settled, i went to bathe and the rest slacked ard. Poor silas hadn't slept for 50+ hours! And still helped us a lot some more!! Thanks mann. Oh and during the aftnn some ppl called to gimme last min notices - Rahrah cldn't make it (drama rehearsal at church), desheng didn't even know it was today(thanks arh teru), sher and friend will be late, siying wld be early tho. Haha.


Then went to set up tables etc, then got ready for the stuff le. My mom started cooking. 6:08pm, our first guests (excluding Silas) arrived - Eu and Gas!! Yayyy Haha. Got them their drinks (which was pretty exciting actually) and chatted for awhile. Then ben, ashton and eve called to say they were at the mrt station already so val and I went to pick them up (val drove). On our way out, Teru made his way in, so we said hi and all first then we went to pick the other 3 up. Then when we arrived back at the house, Ching (val's friend) was there already! So after serving them drinks then realized tt i hadn't served the tidbits! Grr. And there were shitloads of pizza so started giving it out. Hahas

Then other ppl started arriving! And we were behind schedule! We were supposed to start dinner at 7pm la. Then all the ppl refused to eat the pizza can. Siying arrived, Qisheng arrived, mich and JA arrived etc! Hahas. Mingled around, talked talked etc.. Then finally got the guests on their feet and moving to their seats.. Haha. In classic party style we assigned seats for them - broke up the couples and basically sat ppl who didn't know each other at the same table. Thought it might be bad but it ended up really good! Everyone mingled very well =) I'm glad i have fucking sociable friends =)) So we served dinner etc, then desheng called to say he was at mrt, so we went to pick him up.. And thanks to teru's big announcement, the whole fucking party was dying to see him. Thanks arh. Thanks. So we went to pick him up and on the way suyee called and she JUST WOKE UP! Lol. So too late for her to join us le (she lives in bishan!) sigh. So sad lol. Nx time k babe! =) Anw, then when we returned, sher and guo xing were there already! Hehe. Haven't seen sher in ages =) Love ya babe!!

So anyways, dinner draaaaaaaggggggeeeedddd on for super super long. WHY? Coz silly ppl, i mean, silly stupid fucking kaypoh busybodies arh! Hahas. Interrogate interrogate. I wonder why he still stayed on can. If I were him I run away already. Then - interrogate still not enough, still TALK UNTIL SO LOUD!! AUNTIES, I CAN HEAR YOU THROUGH THE KITCHEN WINDOW!! My goodness. So fucking embarassing. I have embarassing friends. Sociable yes, but embarassing.

Thank God for small eyes and SINGLE eyelids! And a FAT stomach! (fuck off and go to hell if you don't like that)


Now I know why halfway through teru came in and asked "your eyes can open bigger?" Hahas. Coz tong helped me stick my falsies then she very smartly stuck them on my lower lids so had to move to upper lids then in the end the eyes BOTH lids also kenna glue. Then the whole night my eyes cldn't open properly lol. Anw, yah then he also asked "you single eyelid or double eyelid". PROUDLY, I say, PROUDLY. I have SINGLE eyelid. YAYYYY~ rah. Anw, yea.. Hung in the kitchen wit silas preparing dessert while the idiot hussies interrogated away. My goodness. Super embarassing. I went out to join evy, ashton, arh ben, qisheng and others at the outside table. Tell you, the rest just totally BONDED at the middle table la. BONDED i tell ya. Irritating shits.

Oh wait! I forgot to mention sth!! Oh yea. At this point must mention that DEAR DARLING ARH BEN gave me the most gorgeous birthday gift ever!!! Wheee~~~ You rock arh ben! Love ya loads! It's this uber gorgeous chio lovely awesome fantastically beautiful necklace! And it's the only one of its design in Singapore!! Wo0t. Thanks so much darling!!! I really really love it =) It's gorgeous! Sorry for making u spend so much on me la! Hahas


Hahas. Ok back to event-blog. So anyways, after tt we realized we were running outta time so we hurriedly started the games. Funnily enough, and to my huge surprise, everyone was super co-operative! Hahas. I think it's coz they already broke a fucklot of ice yah. *mumbles about idiots and bigmouths again* Anyways, so we started the first game, which was Scavenger's Hunt!! Wo0ts. I shda printed the stuff out but coz of miscommunication wit val.. Hahas. Anw, these were the items they had to get:

1 condom
1 pocket mirror
1 brown leather man's wallet
1 lady's watch
1 name-list of the other 2 teams
1 thank-you-letter-to-the-hosts*
1 kiss-under-the-mistletoe (take photo as proof)
1 lame joke*
1 brother
1 host!

Hahas. Items with asterisks were judged based on loveliness/lameness. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO START TALKING ABOUT THE LAME JOKES. Just know that i have very very lame friends. And desheng is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EXTREMELY VERY VERY EXTREMELY LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG-WINDED!!!!!!

Wah. I really almost died listening to his stupid lame joke. And it was really quite lame nia. But i really almost died. Hahahahaha. Kays so anw, the grps were named Green Yellow and Gray, based on the colors of their place cards. The first game - Gray and Green tied, coz they were able to come up with most of the items, and Green had the best lame joke.

- Metal stick and Wooden stick hit the head, which one more pain?
- A: the head.

That was the winning entry. The second lamest, told by Miss SherryTan(of the Gray group)!! Lol

- What is the color of weapons in China?
- A: Blue (because dao1 qiang1 bu2 ru4 (buru buru = blue))

Actually I thought this grp one was better. But honestly la. The yellow grp, as represented by desheng, really almost killed everyone off. Hahahahas. So anyways, it was really fun and got everyone feeling slightly happier. Hahahas. After tt game, we moved on to Zong Ji Mi Ma with a twist! Each group had to send a representative to guess the number and the group of the person who kenna-ed the number had to all do the forfeit! Hahas.

Gray grp was represented by Gas, Green by Silas and Yellow by Desheng. (Suddenly he's mr popular -__-"") Hahahas Then GAS WAS SUPER SUAY!!!!! Wahahahahahah 3 times in a row kenna the number! (We held the number up facing the other members but the 3 ppl sat somewhere else where everyone looked at them) Wahahaha Super funny. Poor gray grp (Mich, Teru, Gas and Sher) had to do forfeits 3 times!! Wahahaha. First time was they had to beg the person on their right to SPANK them! Wahahahaha super er xin - GAS EVEN STUCK HIS ASS OUT AND ASKED SHER TO SPANK! Wahahahahahahas. Eunice was laughing her ass off sia! Hahahahas. Then the girls just teh-ed their way through like "uhhh~~ spank meee~~" WAHAHAHAHAHA. OMFG.

Then their second forfeit was that they had to call up McDelivery and ask(altogether as a group) to make a reservation for a candle-lit dinner for TWO! Wahahaha. This was damn funny la, coz the group couldn't say in unison what they wanted to say! Wahahahah. So they kept repeating themselves to the poor waiter! Wahahahs. Then in the end when they finally said, in unison, "CAN WE MAKE A RESERVATION FOR A CANDLE-LIT DINNER FOR TWO?" we all held our breaths, and the guy on the other end went - "HUH!?"

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAH We just freaking all broke out laughing la!! WAHAHAHAHAH Super funny sia! I hereby apologize to the poor McDonald's staff who had to answer our call tt day. LMAO. Super funny! Wahahaha. KK then their third forfeit was that they had to slow-dance to one cheesy song, so we just paired them up - mich and gas, sher and teru.. They danced to "A Whole New World"! Lol. Super funny.

Then the next group to kenna was Silas's grp - GREEN!! HAhahas. Silas, Arh Ben, Siying, Qisheng and Evy kenna and had to SING AND DANCE THE "I'M-A-LITTLE-TEAPOT" SONG LA!!! Wahahaha super funny! So we made Siying lead them and they had to do it twice because i didn't hear them SING! Lol. And they gamely did so. I'm so proud of you guys =))

Then it was late le 1030+? And some ppl had to leave, so we had the gift exchange first and it was cool =) Then we continued with our last game - TRIVIA!! Hahas. Basically we asked them questions about ourselves (the 3 hosts) and the team that answers it on first attempt wins 2 points, the team that answers it on rebound wins one point. Oh and Yellow team won the ZongJiMiMa round coz well, they didn't kenna anything. Lol. So anw, for the trivia, YELLOW TEAM WON due to the combined efforts of Ching (answering Val's qns) and Eunice (answering qns abt me and tong!) LOL

So anw, overall champion were the underdogs - YELLOW TEAM! Haha. They got the prize. You all ownself go and ask them what it was. Yea then basically that ended the party! Hahas. Ended on a good note =)) I'm happy!!


So there you go -- oh and NOTE: I am never gonna host a party ever again!! Super difficult nia. Hahas

About Thursday! Forgot to mention that we entered through VIP again - free entry somemore! Wahahahas. Like, they might as well make me VIP le, i'm getting too familiar wit MOS's vip tent. I'm getting spoilt! Nx time go MOS I sure don't want to queue le lol. Not good. Hahas.
